  • Walk into School Month October

    Tue 28 Sep 2021

We are encouraging pupils and parents to take part in Walk to School Month this October. Walking is a healthy, active and non-polluting way of getting to school if you live within 10 minutes of the school. For those that live further away try parking 5-10 minutes from the school and walking the rest of the way.

Walking also promotes a less congested environment around the school gate making it safer for everyone.”

  • World Car Free Day 2021

    Thu 16 Sep 2021

“Wednesday 22nd September is World Car Free Day and we would like all parents and children to try and give the car a day off where possible.

You could try walking, cycling or scooting to school that day or if you must use the car due to distance park further away from the school to cut down on congestion around the school gates. Fore more information on World Car Free Day visit World Car Free Day | Living Streets website.

Less cars on the streets during the school run means safer, less polluted and less congested streets making it better for everyone”.
