Key Information

Our school includes a Speech and Language Centre which is tier 4 provision; the results of their assessments are included in our mainstream published data.  Our own school data reflects the performance of the mainstream pupils.

Please find below important documents and information about our school.

Data Protection Act/GDPR 2016

Following new Government regulations (called GDPR) about how we keep information, it is a legal requirement for all schools to seek consent from all our parents/carers about the information we hold about your child. Consent previously given on educational visits and use of plasters/antiseptic wipes remain the same.

All parents are asked to complete our consent form when their child joins our school.  This remains in place until the child leaves Samuel Allsopp Primary and Nursery School, unless parents wish to amend the consent they have previously given.

Please come to the school office if you wish to amend that consent or discuss any aspect of the consent form.

Our privacy notice which details our responsibilities regarding data protection, is displayed in our school entrances at the Nursery, the Victoria Road site and the Orchard site and is available on this website too. Again, paper copies can be requested from either school office.

Mission Statement

Our Vision

Promoting British Values

At Samuel Allsopp Primary and Nursery School we aim to prepare our students to become good citizens of the future.  Through our curriculum we teach pupils British values and how to celebrate diversity.  We aim to raise their awareness of radicalisation and extremist views, whatever the source.  We have adopted the principles and advice found in 'Keeping Children Safe in Education September 2019' and the 2011 'Prevent Strategy'.  These are incorporated into our school policy on tackling extremism.
