BBC Music Day 26th September 2019
BBC Music Day is the UK wide, annual celebration of the power of music to change lives, with two thousand events across the UK and a hundred broadcasts on TV, Radio and Digital. This year 1400 schools and almost 300,000 children took part.
Year 5 celebrated BBC World Music Day by taking part in a web based singing warm up session led by singer Nina Nesbitt. Afterwards we worked on learning how to sing our song for this half term, ‘Livin' on a prayer.’ All the children enjoyed trying the new warm up ideas and joined in enthusiastically with the singing.
