Our school includes a Speech and Language Centre which is tier 4 provision; the results of their assessments are included in our mainstream published data. Our own school data reflects the performance of the mainstream pupils.

At school we need to keep information about your child for registration purposes and also so we can provide them with suitable help and support. Under the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998 we at school need to inform you about what information is held by us about your child.
To do this we need to send out a ‘Privacy Notice’ which is printed on the reverse of this letter for your information. The Notice explains why we need the information and also lists the other educational bodies to whom we pass this on, for example the LA needs to know about your child if an assessment of special need is necessary.
Mrs Y Fearn
At Victoria Community School we aim to prepare our students to become good citizens of the future. Through our curriculum we teach pupils British values and how to celebrate diversity. We aim to raise their awareness of radicalisation and extremist views, whatever the source. We have adopted the principles and advice found in 'Keeping Children Safe in Education 2015' and the 2011 'Prevent Strategy'. These are incorporated into our school policy on tackling extremism.
Requests can be made for copies of our school policies. Any requests will be dealt with within 48 hours and may be subject to a charge for printing costs.
We have registered with the Tesco Uniform Embroidery Service which allows you to purchase our Uniform directly via the Tesco website.
There is no minimum quantity on your order and free returns if required. Each time an order is placed for our school, we will receive a 5% cash donation and parents will also benefit from earning Tesco Clubcard points.
