Maths - 19th October 2020. This week in Maths we have been exploring weight and have been having fun with the weighing scales. We have been comparing different objects saying which is 'heavy' and 'not heavy'. Some children could even get the scales to 'balance' and knew that the objects weighed the 'same'.

We performed our Harvest play, The Little Red Hen, on Monday. Have a look!

After that, we retold the story of the Gruffalo without any help from Mrs Cranley and Miss Stanyard!

This week, in Outdoor Learning, we created some bug hotels. We saw many creepy crawlies. We hope that they will want to stay in our outdoor area!

Today is National Poetry Day! We have all written a senses poem and we have performed this poem written by Julia Donaldson today. We are trying to attach a recording of the children reciting the poem, but for now, here is the text. Maybe your child can perform it for you at home!
