Science Day

We celebrated British Science Week 2017 by having our own special 'Science Day'.

We were visited by Boffin Jane from Science Boffins who showed us lots of interesting things in an assembly, such as how to use a hairdryer to keep a ping pong ball in the air.

Later on we carried out a special activity with her and learned all about dry ice...

We used the dry ice to make some ice cream.  It tasted a little bit fizzy!

We learned about solids, liquids and gases.  To help our understanding we pretended to be these in the playground.  What a fun time we had!
