When Year 2 Met Harry and Meghan!

During their planned visit to the Think Tank in Birmingham on Thursday 8th March 2018 Year 2 joined the crowds and patiently waited waving their flags for the arrival of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.  No-one could have ever imagined getting so close up to the Prince and his bride-to-be let alone have the opportunity to speak them - well that's just what Aisha did.  A fantastic day was had by all and the children were excited to tell their family and friends about the events of the day.

The following is a quote from an article in the Daily Mail.

And Harry later made a promise to a school girl that he may find it hard to keep - as he offered her the crown jewels. Cheeky Aisha, seven, from year two at Victoria Community School, in Burton, got the promise and said: 'I heard this book called Titus Rules OK - this mean one he steals jewellery from the queen and then gets arrested because Titus is the hero. Harry said 'you'll be having a bit of jewellery later'.'
