We enjoyed celebrating Mental Health Awareness Week by carrying out different activities in class. We worked with Mrs Waheed learning about the importance of thinking positively about ourselves and situations. We created some work recognising our strengths as individuals and what we like about ourselves. We also carried out some mindfulness colouring as we listened to some relaxing music. We enjoyed switching off from the world around us and concentrating on only our colouring. Later on in the the week, we learnt some yoga poses and enjoyed telling a story through yoga. We found yoga helped us to improve our body strength and flexibility. We will definitely be doing yoga again soon! We ended our yoga session with some meditation where we enjoyed relaxing to some calming music as we gathered our thoughts and forgot about our worries!
